Two modes

Temple of Boom offers two main ways to experience the action. You can enter the temple by yourself or invite another player to join the fight.

Single Player

Single Player mode is designed for players who want to take on the temple alone. You control one character and must handle movement, shooting, weapon collection, and enemy attacks on your own.

This mode gives you full control over every decision. You need to decide when to move forward, when to attack, and when to avoid danger. Jumping is also important because the temple contains platforms and different levels of terrain.

Exploration can reveal useful weapons and other items. Rather than rushing through every area, look around for opportunities to improve your equipment. A stronger weapon can make encounters with groups of enemies much easier.

Single Player mode also helps you become familiar with the controls. Learning how far your character can jump, how quickly you can move, and how each weapon behaves can improve your performance in later sections.

Two Player

Two Player mode adds a cooperative element to the shooting action. Two players share the same screen and work together to defeat enemies inside the temple.

The two characters can cover different areas of the screen, making it easier to deal with enemies approaching from multiple directions. One player can focus on attacking while the other moves toward a weapon or collects items.

Playing with a friend can also make the game more exciting because both players need to react to the same situation. Good timing and communication can help you avoid unnecessary damage and clear enemy-filled areas more efficiently.

The different control schemes make it possible for two people to use the same keyboard. Player 1 uses W, A, S, C, and V, while Player 2 uses the arrow keys, K, and L.

Your mission in Temple of Boom

The main mission in Temple of Boom is simple: fight your way through the temple, defeat dangerous enemies, and survive as long as possible. However, completing this goal requires more than simply pressing the shoot button.

Defeat enemies and monsters

The temple is filled with enemies and monsters that can attack your character. Some enemies may appear from different directions, while others can make certain areas difficult to cross.

Keep your weapon ready and watch the surroundings as you move. Shooting enemies before they get too close can give you more time to react. When several enemies appear together, movement becomes just as important as aiming.

Use platforms and open spaces to your advantage. Jumping can help you avoid incoming attacks while also giving you a better position for your next shot.

Avoid enemy attacks

Defeating enemies is important, but staying alive is your first priority. Enemies can shoot at your character, so standing still for too long can make you an easy target.

Keep moving when an enemy is attacking. Jump over dangerous areas, change your position, and use the environment to create distance. A quick movement at the right moment can help you avoid an attack and give you another opportunity to shoot.

In Two Player mode, players can also help protect each other. When one character is under pressure, the other player can attack nearby enemies and create space.

Collect useful items

Items are an important part of the gameplay. Enemies that fall can leave useful objects behind, while treasure chests can contain valuable supplies.

Look for ammunition, weapons, and gold coins as you explore the temple. Ammunition helps you continue attacking enemies, while new weapons can give you different ways to deal with difficult situations.

Do not ignore items simply because the area looks dangerous. Consider the safest way to collect them. Sometimes clearing nearby enemies first is the better choice.

For players who enjoy this type of fast shooting gameplay, Getaway Shootout is another shooting game worth trying. It also combines simple controls with chaotic action, making it a natural choice when you want another quick game after playing Temple of Boom.
